In the Spring of 2025, Marianne Barnette fulfilled her dream of photographing Arctic wolves in the wild. She, her husband, and wildlife photographer, Amit Eshel flew 2,588 miles / 3,883 km from Ottawa, Canada, to Ellesmere Island, high above the Arctic Circle, where they met their three indigenous guides, and faced wind storms, sub-zero temperatures, Musk ox, and Arctic wolves.
